One half of the lesbian duo Indigo Girls made her way to Dallas this week over at House of Blues. Amy Ray ventures away from usual folky fare to a more rockin’ edge and we’ve heard her show was definitely on the slammin’ side. Here’s a snippet of it thanks to YouTube poster teejay9798.

Our favorite family friendly female rapper Melange Lavonne is in the running to open for Katy “I Kissed a Girl” Perry but she needs your vote. The Dinah is coming up and Miss Perry looks to be one of the headlining acts (along with the Indigo Girls, Uh Huh Her and Robin S) but opening acts are up to those who vote which can be done here. You’ll have to register first for the Web site.
And what is The Dinah? Oh, perhaps the Lesbipalooza to end all lesbian festivals. In fact, it sounds like so much fun, some of us guys wish we could go. The World’s Largest Girl Party happens this spring April 1 – 5 in Palm Springs. So girls, get your party dresses (or pants? skorts?) packed and ready for some helluva Spring Break.
And don’t forget to vote for Miss Lavonne to get her name on the list.
